Second Hello Privacy Policy
Last updated: November 1, 2026
The short version
Second Hello does not collect your personal data. Everything you enter stays on your phone. There are no accounts, no analytics, no ads and no tracking, and nothing is sold or shared.
What you enter stays on your device
Your check-ins, challenge predictions and debriefs, the people you add, your notes about them, and your progress are stored in a database on your phone. Brilliant Disruptions, the maker of Second Hello, has no server and cannot see this information.
Purchases
Subscriptions are sold and managed by Apple through the App Store. We never receive your payment details. The app asks Apple, on your device, whether your subscription is active. Apple's privacy policy applies to purchases.
Reminders
Reminders are scheduled by your phone itself. They are not sent from a server.
Sharing and export
When you share a report or export your data, the file goes only to the app or person you choose in the share sheet.
Deleting your data
Settings → Delete all my data erases everything the app stored. Deleting the app also removes it. Apple keeps its own record of your purchases.
Age
Second Hello is for adults 18 and older and is not directed at children.
Not a medical service
Second Hello is skills practice inspired by CBT research. It is not therapy, diagnosis or treatment, and it does not collect health records.
Changes
If this policy changes, the new version will appear in the app and on this page with a new date.
